:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Basic Bibliophile -- Jam-packed with sass, seduction, sins, and story! : KINGDOM OF THE CURSED by KERRI MANISCALCO is jampacked with wonderfully descript new settings, tit-for-tat sassiness, and sauciness between Emilia & Wrath, a closer look at several of the demon Princes, and wonderful plot twists. Maniscalco's writing is strong, well-paced, and had me racing to get to the end, but also sad it was ending. It is a great addition to the series. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2021 )

I loved Kingdom of the Wicked but this one was even better. Kerri Maniscalco delivered big time. The story had everything i wanted: significant character development, supernatural beings, mystery, intrigue, plot twists and ohh boy.. a lot of steam. The built up tension between Emilia and Wrath had me coiled up tight from start to finish They had chemistry galore and their banter was priceless. I loved how their relationship strengthened, and the way they always pushed each other's buttons. Some secrets are revealed in this second installment of the series, and we discover there's much more to Wrath than meets the eye, but there's still much more to unravel and I can't wait to sew how the story will wrap up in book 3. We return to find Emilia in the kingdom of the wicked, trying to find her way through the rituals, figure out who to trust and make her own way in this new strange world. It was great to be back in the world! I did wonder why Emilia did some of the things she was doing, but it was a pacy, fun read with great chemistry between the two main characters.
